PREAMBLE
Turns out eight large tins of heavy IPA in one sitting might not be good for you. Among other things, for example, my eyeballs are shaking. This is awful. Also: my favourite tee was ruined when a hot dog emptied its condiments down the front of it. Good times, bad times -- I've had my share (and then some).

NOTES
Unless I'm mistaken, this will be Severino's second start since returning from injury. He has all but owned the Blue Jays to this point in his career; perhaps today is the day they turn the tables on him.

Plucky rookie Trent Thornton, meanwhile, takes the bump for the Birds. He's a tough nut to crack, that one. Doesn't seem to shrink from the spotlight, however, which I respect; then again, that's likely true of all / most pitchers. Fingers crossed he comes out guns a-blazin' to close the book on Yankee Stadium in 2019.
