I'm working so this has to be short. How about we go with baseball themed songs this week?
(I hate Centerfield so one of you have to post it.)

So after all that talk about not being enough baseball posts, no one stepped up to actually write about spring training so you're getting a 5 minute gratitude post from me.
I suspect most of you are grateful that baseball's back. I'm grateful that my parents' places have cleared outbreak and they get to be together again. Also grateful that I'm able to pass along the caregiver baton to my sister and be able to rest for a while.
What are you grateful for?
From the very beginning I envisioned our Saturday nights as being a party night. In fact, this blog was inspired by all the music posts that would go down at night after games on AS. So I'm thrilled that 5 years later we're still grooving.
Have to head off to see my parents soon (fingers crossed I'll be able to take my mom to see my dad today!) so this is a quick and dirty party post.
I'm grateful for electricity and that some heat still comes through our vents even as the heating unit doesn't work. What are you grateful for?
Another Blue Jays season will soon be upon us and with the everchanging landscape due to Covid-19, it can get quite confusing as to what the schedules and time frames are currently. Note that it will always remain a fluid situation and is subject to change at a moments notice, but this is what we know at this time.

It's still being determined where exactly the Jays will be playing their home games but there's a strong suggestion that it'll be Dunedin. Buffalo is still in the mix but because of scheduling conflicts with the Bisons, it may not be doable. The dimensions of Dunedin are good and the lighting was scheduled to be upgraded before the 2020 season but was abandoned when the Jays chose Buffalo as a home park. It shouldn't be an issue to get the lighting done in time for the regular season.
As mentioned in the comment section yesterday, 7 inning doubleheaders and runner on second for extra innings, has been approved but no universal DH. The covid protocols are still being discussed and agreed to. Playoffs have been returned to the 10 team format after last years 16 team expansion
Back in the 90's, I was in the car with my kids a song came on the radio, and I started singing along. My children were agog. Not at my singing ability but because I knew the words to the song. I asked why? It was because the tune had just been released. I explained that it was a remake/sample of a 70's song and that it wasn't new.
Some remade tunes are better than the original. I love Motown.
