Back in the 90's, I was in the car with my kids a song came on the radio, and I started singing along. My children were agog. Not at my singing ability but because I knew the words to the song. I asked why? It was because the tune had just been released. I explained that it was a remake/sample of a 70's song and that it wasn't new.
Some remade tunes are better than the original. I love Motown.
But I also like the bass line in this version.
Still think The Temp's version is the best ( even though it wasn't the first version to be recorded)
