Gabriel Ynoa (1-9, 5.65, 1.37) vs. Jacob Waguespack (4-5, 4.75, 1.36)
PREAMBLE:
After splitting the first two games, the Blue Jays look to take the rubber match in tonight's series finale against the Orioles. Additionally, the Jays are looking to cool Trey Mancini off after a 5-for-5 outing last night -- it's simple, boys. Walk him.
Staff ace Jacob Waguespack is on the mound tonight for the Jays and he'll face Gabriel Ynoa of the Orioles. Ynoa is facing the Jays for the fifth time this year, having gone 0-2, 4.40 in the four previous outings.
NOTES:
Some good news: Bo Bichette is no longer feeling concussion symptoms today. Who knows if the Jays will try to get him into a game or just elect to let him sit out the rest of the way and start fresh in 2020?
Dan Szymborski of Fangraphs has posted a good post-mortem of the 2019 Blue Jays. Fair and balanced, and get a load of Bo's projections for the next few years! Check it out here.
Happy birthday to Dabbles and Ray! Plus several belated ones from earlier this month.
