Marco Estrada (7-12, 5.75, 1.44) vs. Jimmy Yacabonis (0-2, 7.22, 1.53)
Prepare to shed a lot of tears tonight as it'll be the last time the Blue Jays face the oriLOLes this season. They've gone 14-4 so far. So much fun beating them up. Tonight, the Jays go for a series sweep and redemption for getting swept in Baltimore three weeks ago.
Marco Estrada goes out there to see if he has anything left in the tank; based on his last outing against the Yankees, it really doesn't look like he has much left. Here's something I'd love to see happen: A four-way tie for playoff positioning in the National League. Not totally far-fetched; this is what it would take for the Brewers, Cardinals, Dodgers and Rockies to finish at 90-72:
Jayson Stark outlines what could happen if some or all of these happen: Article - Root for Max Chaos One of these teams could end up playing five games in five days in five cities, with different time zomes. Oh yes, please.
This is your "We're going a-sweepin' tonight" game thread.
