Aaron Sanchez (RHP 0-1 2.95 14K) v. Chris Tillman (RHP 1-0 2.89 8K)

Nice to see the Blue Jays lay a beating on the Braves before decamping for Baltimore, even though the beating came (in part, at least) at the expense of yet another position player. E'ery cloud, however, has a silver lining. Eh, Dabbles?

Of Note: OF Anthony Alford has been summoned from AA New Hampshire. Huzzah! Twenty-two year old Alford -- Baseball America's no. 34 ranked prospect -- is slashing .325/.411/.455 for the Fisher Cats, with three home runs and nine stolen bases. OF Darrell Ceciliani, meanwhile, has clambered aboard the train bound for the Fifth Ring of Hell that is Dunedin, Florida. In other news: Jonah Keri makes the case for trading Josh Donaldson (RSN). Sounds good to me, I suppose, except it sure seems Toronto is poised to go on a run, thereby rendering the conversation moot into the foreseeable future (ie. this season). Still, nothing wrong with contingency plans.
