Danny Salazar (RHP 2-3 4.28 49K) v. Francisco Liriano (LHP 2-2 4.44 30K)

I missed last night's loss the result of watching the Senators send the filthy Rangers packing. Wooo!

And, now, I have the bastard's hangover. Ugh. For e'ery action, dear reader, there is an equally unpleasant reaction. Something like that. Never forget it.

Tonight's game figures to be a real nail-biter, eh?

Just kidding! Look at that line-up. Oi vey! Our beleaguered Jays are very likely about to have their hats handed to 'em. To quote Ed Rooney, between grief and nothing, I choose grief; still, it'd be remiss of me not to hope Liriano pitches well above his pay grade and that Toronto rides his hot hand / Goins, Barney and Smoak to sweet victory. So, there.

We are all Abe Froman, on this occasion -- baseball-bound "Sausage Kings of Chicago".

Did You Know: the Japanese word "gojira" is a portmanteau of "gorira" (gorilla) and "kujira" (whale)?
