The 40 man!

Hello again. A lot of you were good enough to share tweets and information about the changes made to the Blue Jays 40 man roster but I thought I'd accumulate all the details in one spot.

First, the Subtractions

Chris Rowley and Harold Ramirez have been outrighted. Most of us will remember Rowley for his 3 starts this year and his military service. Ramirez? Honestly had to look this guy up but he came over in the Hutch deal.

Rob Refsnyder is also moving on as he was claimed by the Clevelands. Likely a spy for the Yankees and not appearing to have a fit on the 2018 Jays, we thank him for...being a Blue Jay? Or something...

Additions

Gift Ngoepe was acquired from the Pirates for a PTBNL or cash. By all accounts a decent infielder who doesn't hit. Bye Bye GoGo?

Conner Green, Tom Pannone (pitchers), Dan Jansen and Reese McGuire (catchers) as well as Rowdy Tellez were all added to the 40 man to no ones surprise.

Omissions

There have been some articles written of who has been left off but Max Pentecost stands out. An 11th overall pick and previously considered the best catcher in the 2014 draft, Max has not advanced as hoped due to bunch of injuries and hasn't played above A ball. Some also feel his catching days are behind him and his future is now more of a 1B/DH type player. Which the Jays desperately need.....to add to their collection.

Any changes/omissions/mistakes please see below.
