After another tough loss due to a subpar start from a slumping Alek Manoah and Tim Mayza giving up a pair of untimely runs, the Blue Jays were looking to secure their 11th series win of the season. - Kevin Gausman threw 6.2 shutout innings, scattering 5 hits while walking 2 and striking out 11. Gausman has been the Blue Jays most consistent pitcher and should receive all-star consideration
- The bullpen gave up a run on a hit and a walk over the final 2.1 innings. Erik Swanson threw 1.1 perfect innings.
