End of Year Gratitude

I want to thank this community. You've heard from the other 3 recipients of the JITH fund. I was the 4th. Turns out Catcher had always intended me to be one of the recipients but I didn't feel right taking as much as the others who have it much harder than me. I was ok with a 10% cut, which was enough to allow me to take a couple of days off from work this past week and still make my January rent (which is going up but I'm still getting this place for a steal).

So thanks to all of you and your generosity. I'm amazed at how much this community raised in such a short window. I hope we can do this again next year with more lead time for people to contribute. I'd also be open to the idea of a summer drive as well, depending on how you all feel.

So with this year coming to a close, I challenge you to look for things you are grateful to 2020 for. I'm grateful for my job. For the time I've had to delve deeper into myself, especially on a spiritual level. I'm grateful that a way appeared for me to spend some time with my parents. And I'm grateful that this community is still going strong - and is still a community.

What are you grateful for?
