I'm grateful for a few things:
- I'm grateful baseball is back
- I'm grateful that thanks to the generosity of a friend, I'm able to go to the dentist this morning for the first time in a couple of decades
- I'm grateful that another friend gave me an aloe plant so I can use its gel to sooth my breast after each radiation treatment
- I'm grateful that I've gotten through the first week of radiation
