I'm grateful I was taken out to dinner at The Keg last night. I'm grateful that my acupuncturist is back today. I'm grateful that this time next week I'll have done my surgery. I'm grateful Doctor Who brought back the Classic Doctors and companions. I'm grateful for the internet.

I'm grateful that today I finally get surgery nailed down. I'm grateful for ball who use the Amazon link, which let me get new gloves for my sore hands, an alternate pillowcase for my body pillow, and a book to store my Mom's coin collection in. I'm grateful for the surprise income that came in from a blog post I did in 2010. I'm grateful my friend is treating me to Body Blitz tomorrow. I'm grateful for the Toronto Public Library who has kept me well stocked in books, graphic novels, cds, videos, and audiobooks. (I've read 169 books this year.) And I'm grateful for all of you.

Yup, it's almost there. During the stupid lockout, it seemed like the season wouldn't start until the middle of the summer. But here we are, a couple of days away.
This is doubling as a gratitude post. I'm grateful that baseball is upon us and we have the whole community back together. We miss you guys who are only here during the season!

A friend introduced me to the Muscle Shoals documentary. I had no idea about the musical history of the place. Of the 4 main people followed in the doc, only one is still alive. Grateful that they were able to record this before they died.

So after all that talk about not being enough baseball posts, no one stepped up to actually write about spring training so you're getting a 5 minute gratitude post from me.
I suspect most of you are grateful that baseball's back. I'm grateful that my parents' places have cleared outbreak and they get to be together again. Also grateful that I'm able to pass along the caregiver baton to my sister and be able to rest for a while.

I'm grateful for electricity and that some heat still comes through our vents even as the heating unit doesn't work. What are you grateful for?
You would think, with all the stuff that has happened in the last 24 hours, that someone would step up and write about it all. But no, you're stuck with me, who scanned stuff for 30 minutes after a 10 hour shift and grocery trip who has to go to bed for another 10 hour shift.

I am grateful for all the resources that have come my way recently to remind me to focus on where I want to go rather than focus on what I don't want. Basically, to cultivate thoughts that make me feel good. This has allowed me to turn around some tough situations at work.

Yup, it's that time again!
I'm grateful that last week I finally got to experience what it was like to get an upgrade. I was upgraded into a corner suite which was one of the highlights of my life. The view was stunning!
