Elimination baseball

I'm still furious at the ending of the game last night. Edwin Diaz buzzed a pitch at Wladmir (WBC home run leader) Balentien's head in the top of the 10th inning after barking at him the whole at bat. The Netherlands team was pretty pissed off and came out on the field. The camera captured Javier Baez taunting the Oranje bench.

To this day, this game sticks in my craw so why not share the misery? And no, this isn't the game that knocked Canada out of the tournament after they beat the US. This  game is even worse.

The WBC - Team Canada

With Spring Training just around the corner, pitchers and catchers for the Jays report Feb.15th,full squad Feb 18th, that must mean we're breathlessly anticipating the World Baseball Classic. Team Canada has been grouped with Columbia, Belarus, Dominican Republic and the US of A. Canada's first game being played March 9 against the DR in Miami.

For those of you interested the Jays have 10 players from their major and minor league teams playing the The Classic.
